BEGINNING WITH COMPUTERS

An ideal starting point for beginners, seniors or simply for people who need to revisit computer fundamentals in order to acquire a practical understanding of: MS Windows - Desktop, Working with Text and Photos, Internet (World Wide Web), Windows Mail (Electronic Mail) and Distance Learning Tasks. Please note no personal lap tops we supply the computers for you.

NEXT STAGE WITH COMPUTERS

This program will cover producing professional looking documents with ease. A comprehensive and practical introduction to MS Word 2007 (Word Processing). Course outline includes: saving files, finding files, using ribbons and commands, working with text, spell check, cut and paste, indent text, working with bullets, format text, shading text, using tabs, insert pictures, working with tables and backup files to a memory stick. Please note no personal lap tops we supply the computers for you.

ADVANCING YOUR SKILLS WITH COMPUTERS

This comprehensive course offers a practical overview of 2007 Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Also included is learning how to manage your files and folders, back up files and photos to a memory stick, document design, customising your desktop and more... From creating a family budget in Excel, making your own greeting cards in Word, and presentations in PowerPoint, this maybe the course for you! Please bring pad and pen, plus folder for course notes. Basic computer skills required.

MICROSOFT EXCEL - 2007

Excel is all about processing numbers. Learn how to create a spreadsheet and navigate work books. Create formulas that perform calculations. Print your data. Create a variety of graphs. Excel is a useful program for those involved in office administration and accounting. Please bring pad and pen. Computer keyboard skills required.

INTRODUCTION TO BOOKKEEPING

Introduction to bookkeeping provides participants with the skills and knowledge needed to undertake basic bookkeeping. It is a pre-requisite to learning computerised accounting programs such as MYOB and QuickBooks. Participants will be able to demonstrate an understanding of basic bookkeeping, including double entry accounting, bank reconciliations, bookkeeping terminology, creation of P and L statements and balance sheets and the creation of simple bookkeeping reports. Please bring calculator, pad, pen and two-ring binder for filing notes.

For users of MYOB who want to set up their business data file correctly. Learn how to set up your data file, accounts, tax codes, card files and inventory items for sale, process sales and purchases, payments and receipts, bank reconciliations and reports. Includes manual and comprehensive notes, plus a brief outline of MYOB Payroll. Please bring pad and pen. Computer skills required.

Take your existing MYOB skills to another level!
This course will revise the basic functions of MYOB but will introduce the topics of:
End of year procedures, budgets and cash flow, customising forms, working with credit cards, point of sales, job tracking , purchasing assets, petty cash and more……..
Also included is an introduction to Payroll.
Comprehensive notes included. Some prior MYOB experience is a pre – requisite.
