INTRODUCTION TO WELDING
With Les Thurgood
An introductory course covering basic electric-arc and gas welding. Material thickness 1mm, 5mm and 10mm. Introduction to MIG welding, brazing of square tubing (RHS) and mild steel. All welding is done in the flat horizontal position. Includes repairing some broken metal objects from home, and/or farm implements. Covers use of hand tools, power tools and applying safe work procedures and conducting routine preventative maintenance, e.g. sharpening drill bits, etc. Equipment list and venue information available from our office.

ACHIEVING BETTER DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY I
This is a good starting point for people to undertake the concept of achieving better photography. It's just not point and shoot!

ACHIEVING BETTER DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY II
This course will extend and expand knowledge and skills gained in the previous course: Achieving Better Digital Photography I. During the final week there will be a field trip.
